Book everything before you arrive...
Mariahilfestrasse is the main commercial promenade in Vienna. That’s a very elegant city, with elegant buildings everywhere. I came with my friends from Budapest by train, but of course flights from all over the world come to Vienna, or Wien. My advise as tour guide is that you should book everything before arrive in the city. Go to Internet or your preferred travel agency because there are lots of congresses, meetings and Opera concert festivals. For hotels go www.europe-cities.com/hotels-vienna www.vho.at www.oanda.com/convert/classic?user=vienna, www.booking.com/city/at/vienna and for restaurants www.fodors.com/miniguides www.talkingcities.co.uk www.ci.vienna.va.us/Town_Info/restrguide

As you know, Vienna is world music city. You need to book your hotel in advance; there are thousands of tourists all the time. Hard cash…US dollar must be converted in Euros and you’ll need for expenses. Credit cards, travel checks for sure pay hotels, restaurants, car rentals, city tours, concerts, operas, flights. Transfers from airport to hotel check in must be paid in cash. But when you walk through Mariahilfestrasse for shopping….what a huge variety of tends and galleries!

As "music city" Vienna has always concerts
Souvenirs are the most beautiful, like dolls, cups, bottoms, etc. Vienna is a place to enjoy life, music, coffees and restaurants. Do never miss to visit Johann Strauss Castle for the valse concerts. It’s light and romantic music, but if you prefer the great concerts performed by Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra or go to Vienna Opera, the greatest pleasure awaits you. Famous are also Operettas, light and romantic operas. As well as other light concerts, just to enhance your moments at restaurants and open air places.

Mariahilfestrasse with lots of tends and galleries...
Do not miss have a Vienna coffee, it’s famous. Lots of places everywhere like near the main cathedral or spread around in the city. For city tours there are carriages and buses. You’ll find also ladies and gentlemen dressing ceremonial suites selling concert tickets in front of the cathedral. That’s definitely a great decision go to Vienna and you’ll be happy remembering it later…
